Pease Splash Pad

1600 Parkway, Austin, TX 78703; (512) 974-9331

The Pease Splash Pad in Austin, Texas is one of the best places to cool off during a hot summer day. With its colorful and modern design, this splash pad offers an exciting and fun experience for kids of all ages. Located within Pease Park, the splash pad provides a great family-friendly atmosphere where visitors can relax and play in its refreshing water jets.

With plenty of seating surrounding the splash pad, it’s easy to sit back and watch your children enjoy themselves while getting some respite from the Texas heat. The Pease Splash Pad has various features such as slides and sprayers that shoot out colorful streams of water – sure to keep your little ones occupied for hours! Not only does it provide entertainment but also encourages healthy physical activity among kids. Moreover, its shallow area allows parents to stay close while their children make a splash. – austintexas.gov

Bartholomew District Park

1701-1723 Greenbrook Pkwy. Austin, TX 78723; 512-974-6700

This park has disc golf, a creek & picnic areas along with sports facilities on 57 acres. The splash pad is pretty new as well and is a decent size. There is seating around it so it’s comfortable to have a picnic and run in and out of the water. It is very family-friendly, well-kept, and spacious.

Liz Carpenter Splash Pad

1000 Barton Springs Rd. Austin, TX 78704; 512-974-9331

The Liz Carpenter Fountain/Splash Pad is closed due to a mechanical problem. We will let you know as soon as we are able to reopen it.  The Liz Carpenter Fountain is located at 1000 Barton Springs Rd. –  facebook.com/AustinCityParks

Metz Splash Pad

2407 Canterbury St. Austin, TX 78702; 512-974-9331

Metz Park is a great, centrally-located outdoor space. With a playground (with a cannon!), swings, pool, sports field, shaded picnic tables, and a splash pad, it certainly offers enough options to satisfy a wide range of tastes. Metz also has a community center that offers programs for children and adults and plenty of parking in a dedicated lot. –  austintexas.gov

Ricky Guerrero Splash Pad

1100 Brodie St. Austin, TX 78704; 512-974-9331

Very nice splash pad with several types of water features. There is seating around the perimeter for the adults. But the best part is the splash pad is very well-shaded by a large tree. What a relief in the scorching hot summer to find a place for the kids to play outdoors that is shaded. Don’t forget to bring a plastic bucket or some plastic cups for the kids to play in the water; they will be the envy of all of the other kids.  – www.austintexas.gov

Eastwoods Splash Pad

3001 Harris Park Ave. Austin, TX 78705; 512-974-9331

Eastwoods Park is a nice, shady spot hidden near campus. The splash pad itself is located where a wading pool used to be, so it’s not shaded, but there are plenty of spots nearby to escape from the relentless Texas sun.  Unlike some of the more popular splash pads in Austin, Eastwoods always seems to be quiet. One change that has occurred there recently is that parking is now metered, so although the splash pad itself is free, you will need to pay for parking. – www.austinparks.org

Bailey Splash Pad

1101 W 33rd St. Austin, TX 78705; 512-974-9331

Bailey Park and splash pad is nestled in a two-acre park just off North Lamar.  The most obvious feature of this splash pad is a huge orange pipe-like fountain that pours water out with quite some speed. The far side of the splash pad has a pretty good size area that stays dry and shaded. Parents can set their things on the wall that marks off the water area and watch from there without getting soaked.  – austintexas.gov

Clarksville Splash Pad

1811 W 11th St. Austin, TX 78703; 512-974-9331

Not as crowded as some, and there is shade, playground equipment, some open green space, and bathrooms. If only there were changing tables in the bathrooms, it’d be perfect. Street parking can get crowded, but much more doable than, say, the Bailey splash pad. – austintexas.gov

Lott Splash Pad

1180 Curve St. Austin, TX 78702; 512-974-9331

Lott Splash Pad is a splash pad located at 1108 Curves in Austin, Texas. View all City of Austin pools and splash pads. A fun splash pad with a picnic area and a playground close but the only downside are there are no restrooms. – austintexas.gov

Rosewood Splash Pad

1182 N Pleasant Valley Rd. Austin, TX 78702; (512) 974-6700

Rosewood Neighborhood Park is a public park in East Austin, Texas. The park features tennis courts, playscapes, a swimming pool, splash pad, as well as the Delores Duffie Recreation Center and the Doris “Dorie” Miller Auditorium. Combined, they comprise a 31,500 square feet facility with a gymnasium. They offer year-round classes, workshops, special events, tournaments, performances, and demonstrations.

Chestnut Splash Pad

2207 E 16th St. Austin, TX 78702; 512-974-9331

According to the Austin Parks Foundation website, “Improvements to the splash pad to alleviate this problem are in the design phase.” – freefuninaustin.com
